How to reach L’Aquila

From Rome (“Leonardo da Vinci”- Fiumicino Airport): directly from Fiumicino airport take the train to Roma Tiburtina railway station (cost 8, 00 €), direction Fara Sabina / Orte. From Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) the train leaves every 20 minutes (from 6:15 till 12:15) arriving at Tiburtina Station in 40 minutes.

From Rome (Ciampino Airport) From Ciampino Airport the bus to Anagnina underground station leaves every 15-20 minutes. From there take line A and change at Termini for Line B: you will arrive at Roma Tiburtina railway station in about 60 minutes.

From Roma Termini railway station you can reach Roma Tiburtina railway station on the subway (line B) in about 10 minutes.

After reaching Roma Tiburtina Station station, head towards the TIBUS Bus Station, located in front of the Tiburtina station and take the TUA BUS (ARPA) to L’AQUILA, which usually leaves from stall 1 or 2. The ticket costs 11.50 euros, and can be purchased at the “Biglietteria C” of TIBUS station. Get off in L’Aquila at the stop QUESTURA, near the center, where you will find the partner hotels and the conference locations of the CIRQUE Conference.

From Pescara:

To take the bus to L’Aquila you must reach the bus station in Piazza della Repubblica (next to the Main Train Station): From the International Airport of Abruzzo buses run every 10 minutes (from 5.30 till 23.30) arriving at the Bus Station in 10 minutes.

The ticket for L’Aquila must be purchased online or at the ARPA Bus ticket office in the Railway Station Square. The ticket costs 9,60 euro.The travelling time to L’Aquila (Collemaggio Terminal) is about 1:50 h.
